# Get managed service instance usage (browser session)

> A managed service instance's instance time and storage, one line per meter and period. Instance time runs from the instance's deployment to its release and is counted while its cluster could be seen; storage is what the bound volume claims in its namespace requested. Minutes the platform could not see read unknown, never zero. Included during the pilot: no amount. Requires billing.read, and that the instance be visible to the caller as GET .../instances/{instance_id} decides.

  title: Ankra Platform API
  version: v1
  description: >-
The Ankra platform HTTP contract. The /api/v1 surface is the public,
    bearer-authenticated API used by the Ankra CLI, MCP clients and automation;
send a personal or service API token as `Authorization: Bearer <token>`.
Browser routes under /org and /chat are served on api.platform.ankra.app
(each declares that server); they and /oauth/access authenticate with the
ankra_session cookie, and mutations also require the X-Ankra-CSRF header.
Every operation declares the credential it accepts, and no operation is
served without one. This document is published deliberately: it describes
the contract only and carries no organisation data or credentials. Report
security issues to security@ankra.ai (see /.well-known/security.txt).

Why the line is in its price state. pilot: included during the
pilot. plan_rate: the plan's per-vCPU-hour rate after its free
allowance and annual discount, as the invoice applies it to the
hours it bills (the open month only; a closed month is priced from
its invoice). price_of_record: a playground's monthly price recorded
when it was ordered, pro-rated over the calendar month. flat_fee:
the plan bills a flat monthly fee covering vCPU usage. not_invoiced:
the plan is not invoiced. no_rate: no per-unit rate is published (AI
usage). organisation_total: the plan rates the organisation's vCPU
total each hour, so a cluster's share has none of its own.
other_currency: the price of record is not in euros. invoice: a
closed month's vCPU-hours, priced from the month's invoice - what it
billed in euros beyond the playgrounds and registry storage it
carries, a flat fee included; unpriced when its total is less than
those charges. no_invoice: a closed month no invoice was issued for,
so what it cost is not known here (it may have rated to nothing, not
been invoiced, or not be issued yet) - never read it as zero.
month_total: a day or part of a closed month, whose invoice prices
the month as a whole; read the whole month for its amount.
